Today will be a normal day. Today I will not cry. Today Carter returns to school. Today I will go to yoga. Today I woke up and I washed and blow dried my hair and put on makeup and real clothes for the first time in 5 days. I didn’t want to, but I knew it would make me feel better. I was right. Well, about most of It. I’ll cry when I leave Carter at school. But I’ll see him in 3 hours, and I’ll just remind myself that Normal is good for all of us right now. #thursdaymotivation

We are going home! Our little man rocked his 24-hour EEG - with totally clear results! He’s being sent to Shands for an MRI, but not today. Today, we go home. 💕💕💕

24-hours is EEG with all these wires and stickers and monitors is happening now. Carter has been extremely patient and well-behaved. He’s been following instructions, and he’s been VERY excited all morning about all his visitors - especially when his twin sister came to visit. Addison is the most emotional. She’s one of the first to notice him begin to seize and watched him fall, and she’s been very upset and very emotional. Seeing Carter has made her feel better, but she said she’s never going to forget seeing him seizing, and her heart will never stop being sad. 😢 #powerofprayer

Thank you all so much for your prayers. After being admitted and seeing his doctor last night, a febrile seizure has been ruled out. The ear infection the CT showed was barely present when the doctor checked, and he has not had any temperature since we got into the ambulance. This morning, the pediatric neurosurgeon comes in to perform an EEG, and they’ll monitor him for 24 hours. Still no answers. But, he slept well last night with me and with giant Catboy in his bed and @craigraiford on the couch next to us - not that we could sleep at all. Nothing abnormal overnight, and he’s up eating some fruit and chatting with us and asking for his twin sister now. 🙏🏻 Continued prayers are very, very welcome. #powerofprayer

Our sweet boy could really use all the prayers you have to offer tonight. He had a seizure this afternoon while playing outside, and it caused him to fall off the John Deere tractor and hit his head. He continued to seize after we reached him, and he became unresponsive. He was taken by ambulance to the ER where he’s been going through test after test. So far, nothing is abnormal. He’s responsive again, but we have no answers. He will meet with the neurologist in the morning where he will have and EEG. The hope is that he spikes a fever in the night because his CT did show he has an ear infection - and the hope is that he’s suffered a febrile seizure and we missed his fever because we have been outside pool partying and water sliding and birthday celebrating our nephew all day. So, we will take any thoughts, prayers, well wishes, anything, please, that our sweet boy is all right. #powerofprayer
